I never thought of that before. Good question. Very strange thing!
I'll be drinking dish detergent instead from now on!
Heh, sure, why not?
Why are grape nuts called that when they have neither!!!
LOL!!! That's another one! I think, in that case, it's because those little grains of wholesome goodness just LOOK like seeds from grapes. Imagine if the seeds in grapes really were harvested to fill that giant industrial strength-size box that my husband likes to have around. It would sell for around $350.00 a box at Sam's Club and much more at Ralph's. Or imagine some poor soul deciding to make his own, and skip the costly middle man, digging out the seeds from grapes (after figuring out that some have them and some don't, after wasting money on those that don't). A week later, there would be enough for one bowl, and t hen he would dig in, and...well...then there would be the dental bill, not to mention the trauma of the taste of the grape seeds.Eeeesh, I am a little grapenutty this morning, might be related to the very strange dream I was having.
Life is full of mysteries!
