Did you do the lemons still life?

About treason, I think you are asking a very good question. I hope that there is a good discussion to follow soon

Anon, yes, these are my lemons.

I know what I think, and I heard some discussion on the topic today, and heard others who would agree with me, but I am curious to hear what others might say.

Waiting patiently....

I was alive during WWII. I remember how scared we were about the Japanese bombing us on the West Coast. I remember my mother's fear of the Japanese. She had heard about what they did to Chinese women and children. To the day she died, she continued to fear the Japanese. Why? Because they wanted to kill us. As a kid, I had great faith that our military would protect us and keep us from being hurt.

Later, I learned that a newpaper had published our submarine strategy for dealing with depth charges. Evidently, we merely dived below the depth at which the Japanese set their depth charges, a known depth. However, when the paper's article came out in the United States, suddenly, the Japanese began to set their depth charges for contact.
As a result, our submarine warfare took more casualties than ever before. Indeed, submarine service had the highest percentage of casualties than any other activity in the Pacific War. Now, you tell me, that it is right for newpapers to get access to and to publish our governments secret plans to defeat our enemies and I'll kick you in the butt!

I wanted to talk more about this, but I am a little put off by the last commentator that sounds like some kind of philanderer!

Never thought that this line of thought would go in the direction that it did! Go figure!
